Systemic Systemic thinking and child development:
Ideas that connect

The workshop will explore an ecological approach to personal resolution; an understanding and application of Uri Bronfenbrenner’s theories of child development. This will include a brief introduction to Bronfenbrenner’s work in the context of developmental theories followed by a discussion about relevance and efficacy with practitioners. This will include consideration of the challenges posed by working with different but complementary disciplines in the context of such initiatives as ‘Every Child Matters’.
Venue: ‘Oaklands’, (103 Duffield Road, Derby DE22 1AE)

Cost: Both Workshops £20. One workshop £15
Venue: University of Derby, Kedleston Road, Derby
Times: Individuals 9.30am – 12.30pm. Couples 1.30-4.30 pm

Workshops 2009
We will be holding the following workshops at ‘Oaklands’, (103 Duffield Road, Derby DE22 1AE) from 12.30 until 2pm. Come along and bring a friend or two! No need to book. For 2009 all workshops will include a presentation of systemic practice and a “Back to basics guide” illustrating how to apply the ideas illustrated.
